• If you have crutches, don’t forget to take a backpack • When you can’t carry a handbag or backpack, wear clothes with pockets

• Put your shirt or pant sleeve over your cast first to minimize movement of your casted arm or leg • Avoid clothes with buttons or zippers • Ask assistance to a family member or a friend to get dressed
